They feature a powerful fan that circulates air around an area effectively. These heaters also have an adjustable thermostat that comes with frost protection and overheat protection. To set a preferred temperature, turn the thermostat knob fully clockwise. When the area is warm enough, slowly turn the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until the heater shuts off. This will maintain the ambient temperature automatically. If you leave the thermostat at its highest position, the heater will run continuously.
