The Armadillo Eco is a highway-towable welfare unit. It provides excellent facilities in a self-contained and secure cabin, including a canteen area with room for 6, a separate toilet, and a separate changing and drying room. It ensures that everyone on a construction or work site has access to toilets and facilities for washing, changing, eating, and rest.
This welfare unit is solar powered, so it reduces emissions, fuel consumption, generator hours, and noise pollution. It is supported by a bespoke 12v super silent generator with a 68-litre fuel tank. The backup generator stops and starts as required, and only when the solar batteries are low, ensuring workstaff always have a comfortable place to have a break. Typically, you can save around £100 on fuel per week with a solar welfare unit.
The Armadillo Eco is completely self-contained, with LED lighting, hot and cold running water, a chemical toilet, regualtion forearm sinks, a microwave, 12v sockets, a table, and seating. There is also a heating system and auto-frost protection to ensure habitable conditions are maintained, even during harsh conditions.
This robust and secure towable cabin is made from steel and has lockable security doors, window shutters, a 5-point deadlocking system, and a hydraulic isolation switch to ensure safety and security on site. It is suitable for the most remote and demanding environments.
