The powerful suction intakes a massive amount of waste through the 27 inch front guard that covers the large vacuum opening. This large, vacant space allows the garden vacuum to cover as much surface area as possible, and it also prevents the machine from clogging up easily. Inside the machine, the powerful blades reduce any soft materials like leaves, twigs, paper, etc., that are sucked up. This feature turns the garden waste into compacted mulch which is easier to dispose and convenient for compost heaps. There is also a 2 inch chipper at the side of the unit. This chipper can be used to feed in twigs and small branches that will not go through the vacuum system, to reduce them into mulch. The chipper is covered with a large stopper that prevents items from falling in and also pushes any residue through the mechanism, keeping your fingers safely away from the blades.
