RadioDetection CAT4 Depth Locator & Signal Generator
The CAT4 is the industry standard cable avoidance tool, designed for locating and tracing underground utilities such as cables and pipes. These machines offer world class performance from a powerful digital processing platform that detects signals naturally radiating from metallic services. The optional Genny4 can be used to apply a distinctive signal to non live utilities that the CAT4 can detect. They are essential pieces of equipment for surveying land before an excavation. The dual-frequency output signal generator assists with the location and tracing of underground utilities. Alongside the standard on 33kHz locate signal, the generator is capable of transmitting a second frequency that helps to locate smaller diameter cables such as telecoms and lighting cables. it also features a new power boost function that allows the signal to travel much further and deeper. These are essential pieces of equipment for completing land surveys before beginning an excavation.
