Floor sanders are for stripping various wooden floorboards, including parquet & mixed-width flooring. They are easy to use, and they are ideal for contractors and DIYers.
Drum sanders remove the worn top layer from wooden floorboards to reveal a smooth, score free surface that can be finished beautifully with varnish, stains, wax, shellac, or paint. They are ideal for renovating homes, commercial properties, and even garden decks. Drum floor sanders feature high speed motors and dynamically balanced sanding drums, offering fast, consistent operation so that you can achieve an even finish across the whole floor. The guide handles are comfortable and ensure that the machines are easy to move across floors, and the high impact moulded guards protect walls and other surfaces from scratches and scuffs. A high powered vacuum system picks up dust during operation, keeping the site tidy, reducing cleaning times and making the environment safer and more comfortable.
These floor sanders are self contained, and they are easy to transport, as they break down into 3 components, so they are easier to carry and fit into vehicles. They are versatile and suitable for a range of hardwood floors, including parquet, mixed-width boards, and even some types of decking, fibreboard, cork, engineered, and composition floors.
Floor edging sanders closer to the skirting boards once the bulk of the floor sanding job has been finished. They leave just a 10-15mm gap from walls, so your floorboards have a consistent, even finish. Edging sanders are also great for confined areas, wardrobes, cupboards, stair treads, and more. They can cope with challenging tasks, and they are suitable for various hard and soft wooden flooring.
Edging sanders are compact, lightweight, and easy to use. They feature wheel castors that make it easy to push the machines along surfaces and allow an easy change of direction during use. They also have powerful motors and a dynamically balanced metal backed sanding pads for working quickly, with professional results. The disc guard prevents damage to mouldings and skirting, and a high powered vacuum system picks up and collects dust as you go.
From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An "away from depot" charge will be calculated at checkout. We recommend you have your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI). If you need this, we can introduce you to an insurance provider, talk to us.
