50mm automatic submersible pumps feature a sensitive electrode that automatically detects water, switches the pump on and begins pumping the water away. The pump will then automatically shut down when the water has been pumped out. An internal timer also helps to prolong the life of the motor by stopping the pump from starting and stopping frequently. This means that these pumps can be used unattended. These dirty water pumps are designed to be fully subermged in water, in order to pump it out and away from the area via a layflat delivery hose. They are ideal for use when draining a basement, a pool, a drain or emptying tanks.
